A man found guilty in January of shooting into an occupied building in Pike County has been sentenced.

Pike County District Attorney James Tarbox tells Action 8 News that Justin Perry Blair was sentenced to 15 years in prison, with that sentence split for two and a half years to serve and the balance being suspended. Blair will also have to serve 60 months of probation upon his release from prison.

Blair was convicted on January 11 for Discharging a Firearm into an Occupied Building. The offense occurred on October 16, 2022, when officials say Blair and a co-defendant shot into a dwelling in the 400 Block of South Brundidge Street in Troy.

No one was injured in the shooting.
